help on extended warranty..
hi guys, i am just wondering where to get extended warranty??
from lexus dealer? or from somewhere else? and what is the price range??
also if you get it, what certificate will they give you? receipt? or??? it will be helpful if you guys even have a pic of it..

I purchased my extended warranty from Lexus. It's 7yrs/100,000 with 0 deduct.
Your car have to be under 4 yrs / 50,000 in order to qualify for this warranty
Other option is 3rd party insurance company.

when I bought our 98 GS400 from a private party last year (he had CPO) it was not transferable. Additionally, when reasearching aftermarket warranties, I found they are not avail. to consumers in California. I am unaware if things have changed in the last 6-8 months. I was very suprised to find this out...after the fact.

thanks for the help, my parents bought the GS as my first and last car that they will ever buy for me. i even got the wheel protection package i need to go over this crap and get some money back to get some more mods.
