i think it depends on what your trying to do with your car. if u r going for a sporty look than go l-tuned. if u are going for a more classic look than do the sports design with the chrome "L".. if u are going for the 80's look than do the gold "L"

I like the chrome L on the SD most. But that means I have to do what I've been putting off-REBADGE
I don't look forward to this at all. I'm paranoid about getting the new emblems on straight.

Why not just outline the badges and then when you put the new ones on, they will come out right...that's what I did on my black pearl kit for the LS

Of the 3, I like the SD-gold the least (sorry). I agree with the other posters about the other two. It depends what you're looking for. The L-tune looks really sharp, but it definitely conveys the non-stock, modified look. The SD-chrome looks similar to the the stock grill (I think). As for rebadging, if it's something you were planning on doing anyway, then I would go for the SD-chrome and rebadge. I thought alredxiii's suggestion about tracing the old badges was a good one, although I'd like to know what you should use to trace that will stay on for purposes of putting the new emblems on but will easily wash off when you're done.

I'd just frame the previous emblem(if you like the way it is on there) with blue painters tape.

that is so funny, when i posted about grills a little while ago i was wondering the same two things in my mind...I was basically trying to find out which grill people like in general...I have the l-tuned but i just bought the chrome sd grill from another member...The l-tuned works for me right now b/c i have no other mods besides all of the l-tuned mods the dealer puts on...The 18's in mesh look great w/the l-tuned grill because its a different, racy if you can picture, look...Not too extreme but more refined and sporty...The chrome SD grill will go with my chromies that are on wait from japan...I plan to switch the grills in and out...My thinking is two grills are better than one...With my old tls, i had two sets of 19's (work LS and dronell type 4) and that was always good going from silver to chrome and back...Shyne

L-tuned looks too Civic'ish and geared toward the younger crowd.
SD is more classy. Sorry but the gold is gotta go.

NEO-that was my exact idea last night-blue painters tape. I almost did it last night but I decided I better wait till my new emblems are here
