My new leather/suede interior, plus some pics from last night
Hey guys,
My car has been MIA for a couple of weeks because I was getting a whole interior overhaul in time to get ready for today's show. (Yes the show is today and I am still at home, I should be there, but I overslept, oh well...)
Anyway, I redid all 4 seats and center arm rest in 3-tone leather (black, grey, light grey) and I did light grey suede inserts on all 4 seats. I also rewrapped the whole interior ceiling in grey suede, all the pillars in suede. There are still some parts (like glove compartment, etc) that are not wrapped yet, but I was hurrying to get the car into my slot for today's show, so that has to be done after Sunday when the show is over..... Anyway, here are the pics:
All the cars coming in and parking....The Lambo, Ferrari Spyder and the SL55 FabDesign next to it are all owned by 1 guy, a lawyer.
For all of you HRE lovers out there...
This Fairlady Z is competing for the "King" award. Can you imagine everything on this car was done in a week and the owner blew $30k in that week?!?! It's sporting a Power Enterprises turbo kit, full Veilside widebody kit, a new custom paintjob, the first 20" Volk wheels in Indonesia.....

I'll tell ya how to do it: You send your car to the shop, get whatever it is you wanna do halfway done, then when she begins to suspect that something is amiss (like the fact that she hasn't seen your car in a while...), then you kinda nonchalantly brush it off and say, "Oh, it's at the shop getting some thing done."
Only 2 things can come out of what happens next:
1. She gets real mad coz you don't tell her what you did, but she can't voice it coz it will make her look real immature.
2. She gives up on getting mad on you coz it's too late anyway and whatever it was she was trying to stop you from doing is already half done.
See, marriage is not that hard.....you just have to know the loopholes....

Sorry, I will have to take pictures of the new interior some other day, because where the car sits right now, it's impossible to have the door fully open to take correct pictures or in better lighting....all I had here are totally blurry....

Jon, I have to say, although you have not been a member as long as others, you make great contributions to this community (IMO). From the custom this, to the modified that, to the PCD and offset saga's, all great stuff. The interior 'seems' to look awesome (cant really tell from ONE pic dammit, lol). And no matter how many times I see that Ferrari 360, I'm always floored by it. Most would think 20s on that car would look stupid, but that guy REALLY put them together well!
