This is the exterior of the car that is selling on Ebay and I posted the interior in another thread. This car looks familiar around my area. I think I've seen this before. I dunno about 50g's. A bit high IMHO

 

$50K seems way high. I just paid $51 for a loaded to the gills '01 GS430 (list over $54k). I don't know what year the car for sale is, but no newer than a '00 because it is a 400.

Sure, the car obviously has some very nice wheels, aero ad-ons and maybe some stuff in the interior (I did not see the interior pics). But, aftermarket stuff usually doesn't add value when it comes to reselling the car and may even make it hard to sell. In any event, you never get back every extra dollar you paid for mods when you sell the car.

My guess is that the car is worth not much more than whatever a stock one is worth...though the wheels are way cool and I'd pay a little extra for those.

 

Year made,, and Miles ??? ... anyways ,, like NVRENUFHP said I think its priced a tad too high at 50k for viel side spoilers dont u think ? interior who cares I bet you can make the same yourself with the type of leather YOU like ,,, I seen the interior in your other tread looked ok but you cant really see the Quality and make right.

 

Is that a painted stock grille? Is the surrounding chrome paintable? According to the pics, yes.

 

I like the painted stock grill it looks nice on silver thats a good Idea never thought of that one hehehehe

 

YEah , its a 1999 GS400 not a 00'. Plus he has the RMM brake upgrade, RMM sway bar, etc... alot of RMM stuff.
He said it has 11,000 miles on it and he only taken it to car shows only.

 

Anyone know what kind of wheels those are???? that might justify some of the price...some of the members can see a wheel a mile away and tell you everything about it...Manaray, GlobeCLK????

 

the grill looks awesome and the wheels are tight, but this 99 gs400 with 11400 miles is definitely not worth $50g !

 

What's a stock '99 worth? With the wheels and brakes (if they are a recognized upgrade, rather than from some unknown source or home made with various bits and pieces), the car may well be worth a few K more than stock. But, my guess is that it is still not a 50k car.

 

Not sure, but those rims resemble Fikse rims. Dont know about 50k for any used GS though.......

 

don't you guys think that if you added the cost of everything on the car it would come out to more than $10k. i mean he's got a body kit, wheels and tires, custom interior, rmm upgrades under the hood, rmm suspension upgrades and brake upgrades, exhaust maybe? each one of these upgrades is probablly worth a few thousands, well, most of them anyway.
but i still wouldn't pay $50k for a used one.

 

usually if u add any extras (bodykits, wheels, etc.) it lowers the price. Also, if he has done any upgrades to the engine, this always reduces the value (sometimes by a sigbificant amount depending on what was modified)
