A good repair shop is really valuable. If you are happy with the shop, just let them take care of it and see what happens. This is one of those things where a bimmer is really worth it. If the body shop specializes in or has a fair amount of bimmers being worked on, it is usually a good thing. Of course this may not always work but the shop I have used around here is normally 80 or 90% bimmers. Last time we were there there was also a 360 and a Lambo being worked on. I would always try to get a price from them before I settle with the insurance company. Insurance companies have had no problems letting them do the repair. About the most expensive repair you will find around here is the Lexus dealership but then they will stand behind the repairs and that is pretty much good as gold, especially for any mechanical issues.
