Looks great! I used to have gold emblems myself and quickly replaced those.

I'm not a fan of the gold either. Too early 90's style for me.

BTW, your paint looks very deep in that first shot.

what a difference, the chrome look is so much better then the gold
now platium, thats another story

The chrome goes with the chrome trimming along the car bumpers and doors...

thanks- I think that 80s comment last time is what pushed me over the edge

That and a black KIA next to a Corrola both with gold emblems

Before I was a Lexus Addict, I thought the gold emblems signified a premium option package, WRONG, just means it has mismatched color scheme.

well i think it depends on what color car you have, gold and black clash so yeah it was a good choice to move to chrome badges. i personally like my gold emblems on my white car; i only have the "L" symbol on my trunk, and man does it make the GS butt look soo BIG.

i have to admit i like that ghetto booty haha.

No worries-I knew it had to go. I just wasn't looking forward to the process. Club Lex is like a good friend-They aren't afraid to tell you like it is

I also think it looks much cleaner now.
