Hey Chuck. How do you think that chrome SD grill would look on alpine silver? My stock grill isn't looking so good, and I'm looking for a change that would pretty much retain the stock look. Does anyone have any pix? What did that run you? About $150, right?

I think it would look good. SD grills look(are) very factory and $150 is about right. Only someone who knows Lexus' would know it's not stock.

I think it looks great on your car, but you have a dark color, and I'm concerned that it won't look so hot on silver because there won't be any contrast. Do the 01+ GS430s come stock with a chrome grill?

I may be wrong, but I think KVA has a silver SD GS300. I think he's got black chrome emblems. Those look real good on silver. You could rebadge and put a black chrome L on the grill. I think that's how they come on the SD cars

Nope. They come with the same grille as the SD (different shape slats than the 98-00) but without the chrome. You can always to the DIY chrome method on the 01+ grille to mimic the SD.
