Default Chrome Trunk Bar

I've been eyeing that also since I changed to chrome emblems. I think it may stand out too much though because my car's so dark. It looks good on silver but what do you guys think on my color.

As far as dark cars, it looks amazing on Junctions. I am thinking of one too but I think you almost need to debadge or have the chrome trunk bar and the Lexus L. Otherwise it is a lot goin on.

You can't beat the prices on their products. I live in Seattle Washington and have never had them do any work.

Good Luck

Thumbs up Chrome Trunk Bar.

For anyone thinking of doing this. You won't regret it. I'd rather do this than '01 tails. This is one of the classiest and cost effective things you could do to your GS. IMO. Enjoy.

imho, the bar looks nice if you debadge the car. i tried it on my car already. with all the emblems on the trunk, putting a chrome trunk bar would be too much

I agree. I got mine from Carson also. Install took about 20 mins total even with the original being a bit corroded and hard to get off. My GS400 is black onyx and I think the extra chrome just makes it look more finished. There is not that much chrome on the car anyway, not when you compare it to the old cars from Detroit from the 50's and 60's. Remember when bumpers were chrome? As far as black chrome or pearl that would be another option but I think you would have to change all the badging as well to be consistent. Also agree you should get the original Toyota JDM part, not a stick on.

How do you take off those back grommets on the lining on the trunk? Do I just yank it or do I need a special tool?
