Yikes! No throttle response!

Wow is right, $215 vs $60 is a major difference in pricing. Thats like a 70% discount , plus further savings if you can install the part yourself. Sounds like your dealer was ready to put the screws to you.

YEAH! the dealer will bend you over! I had the same problem some time ago, lets just say that I would have been glad if I had to spend 3 or 400 dollars. They ended up replacing the entire throttle body assembly even though I told them it may be the tps. They gave me a bill for 1100 dollars! How bad does that suck.?

guys, wasnt there a thread a while back about the TPS only being able to be installed by a certified tech because of the fact that there are some calibration adjustments that have to be performed by certain dealer-only instruments?

According to my Mitchell's on Demand (same software they use at many dealers), Code P1120 is not the TPS. The TPS is code P0120. The code you have, P1120 is for Accelerator Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction. This malfunction produces this: The Accelerator Position Sensor is a 2 variable resistor sensor that monitors throttle opening and accelerator sensor malfunction. The aceelerator pedal sensor determinine vehicle accelerator pedal position. If P1120 is set, ECM shuts down power to throttle control motor and lectromagnetic clutch.
