Anyone who's a fan of Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery would know that his favorite movie is In Like Flint. Hence the term, "in like flint." It's a 70's subculture thing. Door sills are cool. Nanotech, you're approaching this the right way by looking for a dealer to gather the demand. Maybe Steve @ Carson would be the one. Shoot him an email rather than hope for him to read this thread. As for buying them yourself and reselling, you may have problems with exposure to demand. I highly doubt that you will get the number of orders that you expect from "Count me in" takers.

We need a lot more people for the illuminated door sills to be made for the GS.

The manufacturer said that they will take 3 months or so to be made AFTER proper demand is met.

So as soon as we get enough demand, development for the illuminated door sills will begin.

Please keep posting if you want a set of illuminated door sills for the GS.

I don't think you have much chance of getting 100 GS owners on ClubLexus to go for this, so you'll need to go farther afield (post other places, like Edmunds).

I doubt think the same plates will work across Lexus models either, so accumulating interest from GS, LS, RX, LX, and IS owners doesn't help.

Here's a alternative idea - maybe we can modify the existing plates on our cars and use a new type of ClubLexus sticker with holes where the letters are??
