did you know that you can get a free owners manual straight from Lexus

go to the Lexus site ...its there somewhere

just have to punch in your VIn

you can get one a month

1.decide which of the 3 buttons you want to use...hold that button

2.bring your garage door opener to within about an inch of the homelink and push the button on the door opener

3.when the frequency code is registered the button will flash rapidly release both button ..and there you go

please forgive my ignorance here, but, I swear that I thought I had read a "review" of the GS some time ago that implied that they all came with the garage door opener. Is this true?? I'm not so sure I have one on my car.

yes, homelink is standard (or at least almost always the case) on the 2nd gen GS. it's right in front of the front doom light. you see 3 buttons. that's it. you can open 3 gates

Default Thanks!

SC300Es-

Thanks for the link! I was trying to program mine just a few days ago but was having problems with the rolling codes. The manual didn't have rolling code instructions but the homelink website does. It's mid-night and couldn't wait to try it, so went into the garage and sure enough took a whole 30 seconds!

Thanks guys!

You got it.

I remember having trouble programming mine long time ago. I couldn't get it to work until I found the instructions at homelink site.
