Its been said a million times, but the safety and health of your newborn far over shadows the car. As I said that day getting the wife and child checked out is a great idea. And as RU-INAW said, things can come back down the line, especially since your wife was in the back seat.

Its tough because you always want to put a baby in the back, and then you get rearended!

Sorry about your baby getting hurt. The main thing is your other, more cherished babies are okay.

Sorry to hear about the accident......I know what you mean by the "The look on your daughters face", happened to me a long time ago. Glad everyone is fine and that they will recover. Bit of advise though, don't assume the money that this guys insurance will immediately offer you is going to cover the pain and suffering caused to your wife in the long run......that is the mistake me and my wife made. To this day every now and then she has these sharp pains coming from her neck that it stops her in her tracks! The car can be repaired, but not the family 100%. Take wifey to the doctors get several opinions and do whatever you can to make sure the her pains aren't going to be affecting her in the future. Let me know if you need anything. Talk with you soon.

Sorry about hear about the accident, ESPECIALLY when your wife and daughter are with you.

Like what RU-INAW said, you might feel ok now, but these problems might haunt you later in the years, especially for your daughter. You want her to grow healthy-remember this, adults with disease/health problems usually start when you don't take care of yourself when you're young.

Have your family checked out by a chiropractor, besides a family doctor. X-rays will most likely come back "normal" b/c no fractures are seen-but you got to look at alignment of your neck and back (just like alignments of our car). I heard that 200,000 people die each year from a mph rear-ender. This was put out by the State of Florida ......I'll put this up when my friend forwards this study to me.
Where's Dr. Rick? He can give more insight. Good luck.

On a funny note, thank goodness for the jp tails.

Sorry to hear about your accident Adrian. I hope your daughter and wife are fine. What about yourself? I strongly recommend you get a thorough checkup as soon as possible. You never know what might have gone wrong.

I know your other kid (the blue Lex) got injured, but you can easily fix her up in no time.

hope everyone is feeling ok still

I allways worry when i have to stop fast if the person behind me is paying attention.

I have made it a habit now to look in my rear view mirror to see if i should duck out to the median if it looks like they are not stopping, it has saved me once. but is prob not a good idea to look back when stopping fast.
