I'm a rattler, too. Same thing, push it closed and within seconds/minutes it backs up a millimeter or so and rattles. The one time I mentioned it to the dealer (couple of years ago) they said there was no fix as yet for it. Since then the entire sunroof has been taken apart and reassembled twice when an acorm managed to find its way into the sunroof holding pan. This made no difference in the rattle.
I remember that bitkahuna posted once that he used a little velcro with success............

I think this and the hazy lights are the most common problems everyone seems to have. There is a fix for the hazy lights, lets hope we can figure out the fix for this problem too. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Finally! This issue has been bugging me for years....took it to dealer: Answer: Cannot fix under warranty and mine does it too. -Service Technician.
I tried placing velcro to keep it shut with limited success...I tried tightening all the bolts....no success. Someone provide a DIY PLEASE!

I read in another post somewhere that this works... It work hurt to try and doesn't cost much. You have to tape around the edges. I am going to try this myself.

Mine moves about 1/8 inch too and just makes the slightest annoying sound. like if you scratched paper against your headliner.
I'm still under warranty but I'm afraid the dealer will just mess this or something else up
what did you ever find out, Rom?

I had the 'push shade closed and 2 minutes later it has eased back a bit and rattles' problem. Dealer eventually replaced the whole shade mechanism and the problem went away.... but it's back now!
mooretorque, the velcro on the edge worked most of the time, but wasn't attractive, I'm going to try to find a better solution.
I'm back to the 'hear rattle, push it back in' routine every few minutes.
