Ok, so I've done my search on here, and couldnt manage to come up with the same problem. My SUNROOF SHADE rattle when it is open. sounds like its coming from right over my head. When it is closed, i dont hear any rattling. Seems like the previous owner had some sort of felt already which is what is probably reducing the noise when it is closed. The felt is on the tip of the sunroof where it can meet up with the shade when the shade is closed. That plus one more rattling noise i have is driving me crazy. As for the second noise, I have not been able to pinpoint the location as of yet. I will be sure to ask questions when i am able to find it. Anyone have a solution for the sunroof shade? Any help is appreciated.....

i had the problem and i asked dealership to tigten up the whole shade. now it's tightened i don't have rattle anymore

honestly i have no clue, the dealership did it for me under good will so i didn't pay. from what i recall it didn't take that long to do it though, something like 1/2 hr?

same prob here Mo....either you leave it open a hair or deal with the noise

When the weather gets warm, I'm thinkin some dynamat will help some-when applied on the side facing the sky

I have a sunshade rattle when the shade is open just a hair. I notice it more since it has been cooler here in California. During the summer months, there were no rattles, but now that it is cold, I notice it more and more. I have to constantly push the sunshade closed to keep the noise down.

had the same problem a few years ago, dealer fixed it when i was still under warranty.

I'd be interested to find out too if there is a DIY way or resolving this...I have the same rattle, and find myself constantly having to push the sunshade to its closed position...

omg I thought I was the only one... that thing had been driving me NUTTS!!! I just ended up not even using my sunroof anymore. I especially heard it while my sunroof was open and I was slowing down or just barely accelerating.... NUTTS i tell ya.... i've been going nutts.. I tried fiddling around with the bar thingy that pops up when you open up the sunroof and ended up breaking the shoulder.

well i am going to the dealreship this weekend, i will try to see if i can ask how to adjust that

but to clarify, the shade in my car it never closed well.... you can close it for 5 sec and it will loosen up a bit, creating a gap and started to rattle. now everything is fixed for good

yes please post a fix if you can...i have the exact same problem .... im getting tired of constantly closing my sun shade because it keeps falling loose creating a gap and then rattles...

i have the same problem but only when my sunshade is open all the way and my sunroof is open.

if I adjust my sunroof to be open 95%, then the rattle goes away.

that's what I feel like Im doing every 5 seconds...trying to close the sun shade. Now I usually just leave it open so as not to deal with it. If you're able to find something out for us this weekend Rominl, it would be GREATLY appreciated
