Well my reasoning for getting the bra was:

1. I got it cheap.
2. I can sell it easily to a few people in my area.
3. Even though I will only have the GS for 3 or so months until my next car arrives I was tired of looking at my sand blasted bumper.
4. If you put a really thick coat of carnuba wax before applying the nose bra you will never have fading problems. I've owned many cars and have put nose masks on them and never did I get fading on my paint.

To be honest the GS looked better without the bra but IMO it doesn't make it look ugly either.. I'm just sorry I didn't get it before my bumper got all torn up from salt, sand, other related road hazards.. Won't make that mistake with the SC since my dealer is gonna 3M the front end for me..

The biggest mistake people do with nose bras are these things: 1- leave them on for weeks on end without taking them off once a week...what happens is dust and dirt collects under the material, and over time from slight movements while driving, it causes minor scratches...ALso, if you leave the bra on after a good rain or washing the car..the dirt now turns to mud....even worse.
If you install one on your car keep in mind to keep a good amt of wax on the paint underneath, remove it at least once a week and vacuum the back of it or shake it free of dirt. Try not to get it wet and leave it on the car, if it gets wet..try to remove within a few hours.....rinse of the car and hang the bra up to dry then clean it before you intall it later on. If you can, try only to use it for road trips or freeway trips..and follow these tips.

$119 from the dealer, two piece Lexus bra. It was cheaper than the one for my Civic. :eek:

Just wanted to say what a great looking wheel choice for your Silver GS.. Our Lexus dealerships up here in Canada don't sell the nose masks.. Kinda silly when you think about it but oh well..
