I agree. The center without the L doesn't look busy and cluttered.

Good choice chuck. I agree that the black pearl emblems dont look as good on dark colors. I think if you had some nice polished wheels like panda has on his 430 the chrome trunk bar looks good. But if not then it is too much.

i say go for it.. i got it on my gs and i got the L and everythign .. i like the look... nice and clean with chrome..i like ALOT

Good move. I have a pearl white GS with chrome motif (at least that was before I got my new wheels), and after agonizing over the trunk bar for a long time, I decided against it too. What did it for me was to take a look at other cars on the street that have chrome trunk bars - there wasn't more than one that I liked even though they're on a bunch of cars, including many SUVs (and Fords and Lincolns - YECCCCH !!!)
