for the steering wheel one, i find i can mute the sound with extremely light pressure in a variety of places: 1) part of the dash directly below the tach, 2) plastic lower hood of the steering column (which contains the AC vent), 3) the black plastic under the dash, 4) top front left of dash. pressing in on the parking brake release works, but requires more pressure; thus, i conclude it's not exactly there. i've actually used a mirror and flashlight to look around under the dash for a loose clip or rubbing wire. too many possibilities.

if you have the tsib talk to the customer satisfaction manager for the dealership they will get the rattle taken care of for you and will probably come and pick up the car from you and bring you a loaner and deliever it back or if not satisfied with there responses call 1-800-25-lexus

I found it!!!!!!
I FINALLY FOUND WHERE THAT RATTLE WAS COMING FROM ON THE DASH BY THE STEERING WHEEL! WELL, IT IS LOCATED ON THE DASH ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIR CONDITIONING VENT. IF YOU PUT YOUR FINGER BETWEEN THE DOOR AND THE DASH AND PUSH IN BETWEEN WITH FORCE, THE RATTLE DISAPPEARS...NOW WHAT CAN WE MAKE TO REDEY IT PERMENTLY? SOME LITTLE THICK RUBBER GARMENT?
TRY IT OUT!

The sunroof "wind" noise is usually road noise transmitted up from the rear wheels by the drainage pipes of the sunroof.
It can be improved by cutting the pipes a little shorter at the wheels.
It seems that this is more noticable from the passenger side.
My dealer did the above and it got a bit quieter!

TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin. Every so often, Lexus headquarters may send out a TSB to its dealerships to give the service technicians information on addressing issues that may arise pertaining to certain models. Keep in mind that TSBs are not to be mistaken for product recalls, nor are they meant to be seen by the public. Some TSBs may give technicians direction on how to correct minor problems that customers like yourself have brought to the dealership's attention, while others simply address what tools to use for a particular service.

I do not have this problem. I keep the owners manual and a ton of CDs in a Zip up leather like case in the Glove box. My glove box is so tight there is no room for anything else including a rattle.
