Default Advise Needed: Which Scan Tool?

I'm looking for advise from folks who own an OBDII scan tool. I have three manufacturers that I need to read, 2002 Toyota (Lexus), 2001 Ford and 96 GM (my Vette).

I did a search on this forum and the Vette Forum, I've narrowed my choices down to:

Autoenginuity http://www.autoenginuity.com/

Ease http://www.obd2.com/

- Anyone using a PDA with Palm or Windows CE to scan codes, how does it work compared to laptop versions? (I have an IPAQ 3955.)

- I like the AutoEnginuity scanner, looks like I can get basic OBDII for all my cars ($230 for the laptop version), a GM full scan upgrade for my Vette ($100) and a PDA add-on ($60). For $500 they have Toyota, Ford and GM enhanced OBD2 scanning.

- The Ease scan tool coverage is confusing to me, it looks like they sell a generic OBDII genric for $500 then I need to spend more money for all the GM parameters?

I've had the same question recently, and on a separate forum, the 'Autoenginuity' was suggested to me also. A guy uses it at a shop he is in and he likes it better than the Mac and Snap-on scan tools.

One other tool is at www.obddiagnostics.com I don't think it's quite as robust as the Autoenginuity tool.

I am really leaning towards the autoenginuity tools. I think I'll call them today.

Anyone else?
