Keep the car. The 2nd gen is a classic. The 3rd gen will definately take some time for aftermarket...

Exactly! I think the 2nd Gen when done tastefully will stand the test of time just as the 300CE, CLK, and the E Class.

All of you guys have valid points.. Never really thought of it like that... I guess maybe the fact that I see more and more ghetto gs's around and see pics of lexus's on that ever so hot website eastcoastryders.com kinda scarred me for life..

Quick question, for the second gen GS, what year did the aftermarket scene starting get hot for the GS? year 2000?

I was going to call up that site out of curiosity but I don't want my view of the GS to be tainted .

I started seeing much more mods around 2001. Were there befoire but very limited and only for REAL BIG BALLERS.
