I tried some 03 LS430 chromies on my car and all they did was shook and wobbled....

Lexus dealers tell me because of the caliper difference, thats why they don't fit

Chuck, don't waste your money.....buy my L-tuned instead
Well with a comment that you tried them its safe to say that you drove them. You even say it now that you drove. Im not going to argue with you if you want to can PM me.

when a rim DOES fit on a car but got a problem like what you stated, its a good chance the inner bore of the wheel may be at a difference size, what about offset? are they similar or require spacers to probally ensure it can be tight down?

I checked the specs for some they are 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset and a 60.06 center bore.

umm..... the ls430 and the gs shares the same lug pattern, and i would tend to believe they have the same bore (correct me if i am wrong). if that's the case, the wheels should fit (offset is another story of course)> all you need to use would be the lug nuts for the ls430. the lug nuts for the gs is special and might not fit on the ls430 wheels

Well, from this, it should fit. There may have been a lug nut problem. Some wheels are universal, some needs lugs with enough (or less) depth to fit on the bolts correctly. For example, if it is not long enough for the rims, it will not seat all the way in.

Those are knock-offs. They're not OEM Lexus.

RE: GS and LS compatibility:
I'm not sure if this will help but I have seen alot of 98-2000 GS 16's on the early 1st and 2nd gen LS.
I see those cars drive around them so I guess they have them on for a while already, not a test-fit.

Maybe someone can photoshop them to see how it looks?

um, that seems to be the problem, the bore size on the hub is 60.1

I believe the bore on the GS is also 60.06. It sometimes gets rounded to 60.1. Plus, .04mm is really not big enough to cause that much vibration.

You should have done your homework better. The lug nuts for the LS are different then the lug nuts for your GS. Someone must of felt dumb.
