Is this bumper a little different besides no side lights?

Well, U.S regulations make for bigger bumpers. But I think they are identical. There is a chance they are slightly smaller as Japan/Europe prefers shorter cars.

they are indeed a bit smaller in japan. the crush bar here in the US are larger and require a bit longer bumper. when junctionGS installed the jp bumper he had to shave off the crush bar a bit
