Default Painted stock grill, same color as car?

Has anyone painted the stock grill the same as their car? I have a blue 98, and did the DIY chrome mod, but I don't think it looks right on my car. I was considering painting it blue, painting it black, or going aftermarket. Any pics of a monochrome paint job to help me make up my mind? Thanks in advance.

imo painting the stock grill would look horrible.....it doesnt match because the grills are vertical on the stock. if it was horizontal...then it would match way better with the stock bumper.

I have the inside slats of my stock grill painted Alpine Silver, and the front of the DIY Chromed. From the front you can't tell it's painted, but from the side, it looks sick. I say go for it, i think it's pretty unique, and everyone who i've shown it too, says they like it!

If you want a grill the same color as your car, why not get a L-tune or RMM if you still wan't the Logo?

very good, thanks for the input. I had searched and seen the pics of Dex's grill, but was wondering if anyone had pics of a monochromatic stock grill. I've got a lip on order from Ltuned, and figure since I have a bit of a wait, should I get him to throw in a grill with the shipment? Anyway, thanks for the input everyone.
