Default My GS400

Well hello there, I am new to this forum ( I usually hang out at clubrsx.com) and I figured I would share some pics of my car that I picked up back in late october
Its a 1998 GS400 and it had 84k on it but I have 86 on it now. I think the color is called 'cinnibar' or something? Well anyways I am extremely happy with the vehicle and I hope to find a is300 in a couple months that I will like too. I dont think I could have really gotten a better car for $15k in my opinion and I hope to meet all of you guys and learn more about these beautiful machines

Welcome, very clean Cinnibar!

I see Carson City (assume NV) on the plate. I lived in Carson for almost two years back in 1992 1993.

Thanks you guys

I live in reno NV and I work in carson city and that is where I got the car from. Around here gs4's are really rare and I have a friend of mine that has a silver one with mods but I will not be doing any.

I work for a car dealership and I am really only planning on keeping my cars for around 6 months or so, and I do that because I dont want to lose a large amount of money. I do think I would like to get an is300 next if I can find one though, but I am still undecided

I wanted one that color for a long time.

Great price did you get it thru an auction.

I agree with Chuck, you won't care for that is300 at all.

Welcome to Club Cinnabar!

Good deal @ 15K, mine was similar miles with Chrome 17's, NAK, and Xenon's for 18K... which I thought was a pretty good deal since everytime I went to go look at a GS400 in town it was already sold.

Welcome to CL. I had an IS300 before my GS400, and there is no comparison once youve tasted the power of the GS V8 (IMO of course). Nice pics

Thanks again you guys. Lol I had no idea this color was rare considering that that are practically no gs4's in this whole town of mine.

I am considering the is300, 328ci, or maybe even something smaller like a 350z but I really just dont know until I am at the auction and I find somethin. And I was happy with the price, the only reason I got it is because my father owns the dealership and we picked it up at auction so thats what I paid.

I am really hoping that the car is not too hard to resell out of the paper because Im not sure that most people know what it is. do any of you guys know how it usually is with these cars? I guess Ill just have to find out

Again, thanks for the compliments you guys
