i guess its just an acquired look. i like how they look. im not going for the whole cleaning of the lights thing. its like people who buy spoilers for the look and not for the downforce that it applies.

I never knew that "headlight washer" is not available in US even as an opton on GS. My GS came with it since its Canadian GS and I like it alot. I think any area that gets snow during the winter months must have this feature. It helps alot when its snowy and wet. All you do is push the button once and the sprayer works for about 2 seconds.

I guess if you drove your GS in the winter here, it might have some limited use. I remember when I bought my GS two years ago, I drove it for the first winter I had it and did use those washers a few times, however when the car is really dirty with a thin layer of mud and salt, the washers don't do a thing. You have to physically wipe the headlights and wash them to get them clean.

So yes, they do provide some limited function, however when the headlights are really dirty, they are not so effective then.

I can't stand them now as they make the bumper too busy looking. One day when I get around to replacing the front bumper, I will be so glad to be rid of them.

Yeah, those on the RX330 are cool because they retract into the bumper and pop out when they spray... like a spitting cobra BTW, they aren't standard, it's an available option.

If I could get those on my GS I would... as long as I could point them so they spray about 10 feet in front of the car as an "offensive device".

I had them on my Mercedes E420. Every time I used them I regreted it. The car was dark blue and they made a total mess of the front end and hood. And that grill was not easy to keep clean and spotless. I always wanted to turn them around and spray people who crossed the street to slowly. Come to think of it, my 83 and 86 supras had them too

well i think you are only supposed to use it when it's really bad weather outside say snowing or so. i would never attempt to do that on mine

Default Headlight washers

I think they ruin the look of the front end. If I had them I'd be trying to get rid of them.

I do like the idea of aiming them so you could squirt people standing on the side of the road.
Just kidding I could never do that, but its fin to think about it.

i have to agree, to me they scream "hey i can't make myself even more obvious can it?" but anyway, it has its function so i can't say much. though if they are retractable like the ls430 and sc430 it would be even better
