I think it looks nice and aggressive but are you going to run into him at shows? You can take it a step further and make it even more aggressive looking by combining that with this:

Not sure how well it will turn out but just an idea.

Uhh, no. I say leave the hood the way it is- it looks great! IMO it's not a good contrast of color with the color of your vehicle. I think his pops b/c of the contrast of the bright red and black, and then he also has the black wheels to accent the flow of the color scheme of his car...Even with that being said, I thought his car looked ok (I seen it in person at NOPI) but I can honestly say your car looks way better to me the way that it is now- aggressive yet still classy. Hope this helps! But it's just my opinion.

i like your car the way it is and think that the hood painted would not look right on your car IMO

I would also leave it as is. If you went with black wheels it would go like everyone else said. You have nothing else on your car that is black. Now Silver with a black CF hood painted 2 tone, black wheels, black roof and CF trunk on a gs would look sinister. Neo, tell him to get a CF hood and trunk then hell be complete.

dude you don't want to do something just to do something. don't see something at a show and just decide to add it. remember what look your going for your car. you have a luxury aggressive look, chrome wheels, not so agressive body kit and buy adding colors to your car i think your going to confuse the scheme. this is just my opinion. CF with chrome no go. 2 tone paint with chrome no go. thats why we see cars that are 2 toned always have blk, silver or gumetal wheels not chrome. stay with that scheme you have going, it working man...

OK.

[Hypnotic mode]
00lexondub ... you ... will ... buy ... a ... CF ... hood ... and ... trunk.
[/Hypnotic mode]

LOL.

Personally, I like the look but I would not do it to my car. Since you do want to show, I think the two tone will be more noticed BUT it would be better if you go all the way (wheels, trunk, ...) like many here suggested.

done do it. his also matches because he blacked out the "fins" on bumper. I don't think yours would look right with the black.

BTW-I just noticed the lines on your hood that come off the inner lights. That looks sweet! Do they make that hood but without the scoop.

I am not sure if anyone else does but Veilside only makes this one with the scoop.

It's already been done come with something new. Personally I think it look great the way it is. Or you could try and paint some different idea's with Photoshop or something like that, maybe just the inner part of the hood. But what ever you decide I sure it will look sick like the rest of you ride.

Don't do it ! .. His car's flows from front to rear.. I might not like his audio setup or overkill of TV's but I like his exterior.. If you had black wheels, black BBK calipers, etc.. then it would like tight !

Also, I haven't read the whole thread so I am not sure if this has been discussed but his red doesn't seem to be factory.. Very intense red..

I would not do it either on your car. Wouldn't look right with your chrome wheels. His flows because of the color and the black iforged's tie in well together. Change your wheels, tighten down the coilovers a little more and then... yes, go for it.
