LOL. It must be because I almost never use the sunroof. The only time I really interact with it is to close the shade to get rid of that vibration noise.

my manual fits too. It has to be in there just right with the dome shaped part of the leather case upwards.
btw=I have no probs w/my wood wheel. I like it.
now the sunroof, I agree w/Neo, I'd be fine without it. I don't even like to open the sunshade.

Hey Vette Boy. Is that a typo?????? $24,500 for a loaded 2002 GS430? That would be a great price for even a 2001. Have the prices come down that much in the last year? How many miles were on the car?

he never quoted how many miles he bought it with...could be well over 100k

nycdave just paid $29k for an 01 430 fully loaded with every single option and 28k which was EXTREMELY CHEAP for a CPO car

Consequently, BigMoNYC paid $21k for his fully loaded 01 430 with 80k on it at an auction

high mileage and location drops a price like woah

ah most people replied already and i will just throw in my 2 cents.

i don't really like the woo wheels at ll... i thought about getting it (and still do), but after driving my sc430 lately with the wood wheels, gosh.... i don't see much reason why there is sucha thing... must be look

for the air leak, i agree with NY. if you tilt your moonroof, you are going to pull air and some leaks here andt ehre. if you close it and still have the problem, now that's a problem

no complain on the roof, probably guess i am in cali so it's ok. and no problem on the tray too, i never smoke

i never thought about the center console, good catch, i wish there were light there. the glove box is actually a lot bigger than what i have on my other cars so i can't complain. and my manual fits no problem too?

and about the head unit, yes i think it sux, when almost every other lexus models already have in dash cd changer.... but oh well, the car hs been here since 98

Lex Bro's,
Thanks for all the replies.

- I now know how to use my moonroof correctly!

- I still smoke (cigars), thanks for the concern.

- Air leaks: it must be the only thing on my old Impala that's better. The Impala had little foam covers inside the door panels. I know this cause the stereo sucked and I replaced it.

- Yes, I like my GS 10x more than my Impala (not 100X, I still have a soft spot for it, 9 years of ~ok service, but I won lots of street races).

I know what you mean about the air leak, although mine seems to be coming from the window buttons. I never noticed it untill the temps droped to 10* here in minnesota. My left heat vent is pointed right at it. I've driven a lot of cars that have this problem although they are usually cheap domestics.

My biggest complaint with the sunroof is that it doesn't tilt and slide ABOVE the roof instead of sucking into the roof like it does. You have to choose between looking cool with it tilted up or actually having a open roof

Why would you want it to look like a Satern or something?
