I need people's advice!
I am planning to get these 19"s but I'm not sure if I should go with Chrome or Silver? I have a black on black GS... some people told me I "have to" get Chrome because Silver doesn't stand out enough on a black car... but some people told me not to get Chrome because it's to showy.
What do you guys think?? Advice/Suggestions??

up to you. It's your car and your wheels.
I would recommend go to a wheel shop, put the wheels next to your car and look. Sometimes what looks good on pictures dont' look good on the car.
Another good combo is black cars with bronze wheels. But that could be too RICEY for you or others.
But I would have to say, the BEST color IMO for black GS is black wheels with chrome or silver lip.

chrome!
if you have a black car... don't give it a second thought... go for the chrome. the contrast is the best compared to silver or any other color, and it made your wheels bigger while spinning... chrome is the way to go if you have a black car..... it's designed for it..... = D the privilige of having black(tho the caring is a pain in the a$$)

No offense, but sometimes you guys' taste is so funny to me.
Over here, I see maybe 5-10 cars A YEAR with chrome wheels. Mostly it is Chrysler 300Ms with the stock wheels.
I think there is a very clear difference in what is regarded luxury and expensive good taste in Europe and in the US. We just floss differently here.

Hi Per,
you are def right. i cannot go into a wheel shop without the guy ask me if I want chrome wheels. it is like whenever i go to a burger place and they have to ask me to see if I want fries.
one of the european metal foundry told me that chroming is actually NOT legal in parts of europe for environmental protection. but what am i saying. i see more huge SUVs on the road now in the US than any part of the world. one time while getting gas/petrol, this single guy told me his SUV need $100 to fill up the tank, and this was back in the days my gs only need $28. many SUVs even use chrome rims as std equipment as a major selling point. like you said, chrysler 300M with STOCK chromes.
i guess it is all very personal, and certainly no offense to US chrome wheels lovers.

Go to tirerack.com you can choose a black gs and put a big selection of wheels on it no 20's though I already looked I think they have three or four 19's. My dad's black M3 has silver and they don't stand out all that much but Silver is going to be a lot lighter than chrome in almost any case.
