Question which car?

I'm just curious. Would a GS400 with the 3.76 LSD and a Torqueconverter still lose to a
g35c 6 speed ?

If the GS was faster, then it would make more sense to do these 2 mods rather than spending money on a new car.

Just wondering

For what's it's worth, my 430 took out an automatic before I had the lsd. Haven't had the opportunity since the lsd was installed to run much of anything. Just haven't been in the right place at the right time yet.

lets put it this way... my 430 can run over g35's now with only the srt intake and ecu chip, if i had LSD and PI TC, i would jump off the line as fast or even faster than a g35 6 speed, and then the tq of the V8 would naturally takes its course... but i think the fact that he likes coupe cars has to come into play.. for a coupe the G35 6 spd is a nice car... we're not just talking about power here...

The first test runs from the magazines (R&T and C&D) are showing 5.3-5.5 second 0-60s from the '06 M45. How fast are you seeing times on the G35 Coupe, even the 6MT? Most times I see are in the high 5s with a few in the mid 5s.

I see the GS as more of a touring car and the g35 as more of a sports car, mainly because the g35 has a real manual clutch.

The G35C is a nice car. My daughter has one (auto) and it is comfortable for 1 or 2 people. But forget the back seat unless your Kermit the frog or you enjoy making your friends completely miserable. There's no comparison in what the GS offers in terms of ride and room. Personally, I have a family and I need the room. I think the GS is a great car. However, if I were in the market for a 2 passenger car, the G35C would be a good choice but I would also consider a 2004 or 2003 Z06 vette. Room for two, cost about the same as a new G35 and will smoke it and many other cars everytime.
well but i think the g35c has a prtty roomy rear already compared to a lot of other coupes. i was in the back of the car and gosh it wasn't bad at all
