Small 18's
I agree with Aloha on 19's looking much better than 18's in real life and you should check out some cars in real life before deciding on 18's. Before buying, looked at a lot of pictures of GS's on 18's and they looked good. After I actually had 18's, I realized I had made a mistake. Even in real life, they look fine at most angles. But from the side, they look small for such a large car. The thing that kills me most is when a GS on 19's pulls up next to me, I suddenly feel inadequate. But I'm just self-conscious like that.
On the staggered issue: If you don't get them staggered, the front and rear lips will look the same because they'll be the exact same wheel in the front and back (unless they offer a different offset). Even with a different offset, you won't get the full visual effect because you won't have nice wide tires in the back. Personally, if I couldn't stagger, I wouldn't get wheels at all. In my opinion, if you're strapped for cash it's worth it to wait a bit and save the extra $ for 19's. If you were thinking of more expensive multi-piece 18's, go for 1-piece 19's instead.
My $.02

but when it comes to cost, then i have nothing to say, 18s are for sure cheaper. but to me, it's either do it once and do it right, or not do it at all. i would just try to save up

18" Look Great on GS's
I also want to thank you guys for the pics. I been debating between 18 and 19" With DC's notorisly bad roads. I don't think 19s would last long here. Know a few peeps with 19 on up setup on various vehicles. They spend more time in the wheel shop than jiffy lube. looking at the pictues I think the 18 is more condusive to my needs.. But now that these pics were posted I think I will go with 18 with a lowered stance.

Thanks for all the pics guys. Keep them coming if you have more.
For those who have staggered rims I'm assuming you can't really rotate your tires. Do you guys get uneven tire wear resulting in road noise?

If you're not concerned about being thought "inadequate" , then just get whatever fits your style and budget. Ride comfort and performance considerations are also factors to consider, but the bottom line for most is what looks good. I don't think my wheels look small, but others may. That's cool; but I bought them for me!
