Can't remember the exact number but a little less than $50.

Are there going to be 2 nav systems? I heard about the AVN5485 which will have a HD for music and Nav. Should be out in a few months.

yea i think that is the right model. My homeboy went to the show in Vegas and he brought home some pic. its seem the same as the AVN2454. its gonna hit my store in March and i'm ready to get it. Right now i redo my system. upgrade everything to JL and MBquart. I have 2 12"W7 and Rockford fostage 1500bd Watts for sale. I let it go for pretty cheap let me know if any of you want it

Yeah, I saw the new Ecipse double-DIN Nav/DVD/CD unit at CES- it is pretty sweet (I ordered it at the show through my friends at Eclipse, it is due late March).

The thing has a 20MB hard drive and will 'remember' up to about 3,000 songs. It also can read a memory stick (like the variety Sony uses)... and the biggie for me: FINALLY, 4.5 VOLT LINE LEVEL PRE-OUTS. This is what has kept me from going to a unit like this- I am mostly an audiophile, and traditional double-DIN monitor units have pre-outs rated at less than 1 volt.

Also, the double-DIN mounting kit for the GS is available through Carson Toyota. I went in there a few weeks ago, the parts guys knew EXACTLY what I was talking about. It includes the trim (face plate) and ISO mounting brackets- it's the best $48 you'll spend!!!

Thanks Bob. Do you know about the Nav section? I heard that there is a HD dedicated to the Nav too? Is there still a DVD player then for playing DVDs and/or Nav info upgrades?

Also, please check PM.

As a side note, it is a special order from Carson....so dont expect to walk it here and buy one. I waited something like 8 weeks for mine to come in.

It is a nice piece to have though.

I waited that long too but Steve sometimes order a few extra so you may get lucky. Otherwise, there is a wait time.
