Just got the indiglo lexus license frame from midnight moose. I'm not sure how to hook up the wiring. It came with an invertor - do I have to use it or can I hook it up without the invertor? If I have to use it where do you tuck/mount it so it's not just hanging there. Also, it looks like I'm going to have to get to the wiring from the inside of the trunk lid - how do I go about running the wires from the frame to the inside of the trunk? I'd appreciate any help from anyone who's installed one of these - I'm pretty retarded when it comes to diy stuff.

Post a picture of what the frame looks like with all wires showing.

My guess is you would have to run the wires under the trunk license plate light housings (you have two lights right under the trunk bar) and tap those wires.

i just installed mine 4 days ago... i did use the inverter that it came with... i wired it to the license plate lights wires... you have to remove the bar over the license plate.. run the wire under from where the plate lights are .. and tap those wires... the hardest part was removing the fabric peice on the trunk lid ill remove the fabric piece and post you some pics...

Wow Noop that helps so much - thanks a bunch! The pic of the wiring inside the trunk is a little fuzzy - did you have to cut the wires running to your license plate lights in order to tap into them? Also I don't see where you stuck that inverter.

Yea I would have to agree with you on this one not on a Luxury car poor choice of upgrade's but that's your choice and are opinion.

daleer.. yes i cut the wires to tap into them... the little inverter box if you look in the pic im holding it between my thumb and finger, i just used black tape , and taped it around the other wires.
