The hardest part of it was trying to take the oem skirts off. Those clips were tough to break! Or maybe I'm just weak.

Btw, did anyone find a lot of dirt under their plastic side trim moldings?

Yes there was a lot of dirt, a good place for a little rust to get started. I washed all the dirt off before installing the new sideskirts. Did anyone have trouble putting the front two clips back in without them just falling out.

I too had same problem with front 2 clips on driver side but not passenger side. I think its hit or miss with this. Don't worry, between the rest of the clips and the screws, the side skits are very secure.

Just got done putting in the sideskirts and ran into the same issue you guys had. On my car I got all but the front clips on both sides in. I don't know that it's the clips being too small because the factory ones are the same. To me it looks like the hole is off from where it should be keeping the clip from going in all the way.

For those that are going to do this, I would start with the outter clip front and back and work your way to the middle, that might help. The other problem on mine was that the mounting tab on the front of both skirts was too small to let the white clip snap in. I had bought extra white clips ahead of time and tried to put them through the tab but those too did not fit. Don't know if anyone else had this problem but my skirts had to be painted so maybe the extra layer of paint caused this?

Yeah I will try and post some tonight. I wanted to wait until I got the mufflers on too. I've never put pics on the net before so it might take awhile. You have to have your own site to post bigger than 100kb right? Geocities here I come!

those side skirts are absolutely mandatory! they have an arc to them that gives a nice clean transition to the wheel/tires!

bringing this thing back from 05'

FINALLY got my ltuned sides from GS300TOM installed. what other aftermarket retainer clips can we use?? i went to autozone and none of them really fit properly or secure enough. i got the biggest one there which is a GM one but they fall right out with a little light pull unlike the old lexus ones which has a little anchor built on the sides which held on for dear life.

i know they sell it at sewell but the shipping price cost more than the actual product and i dont really need anything from them for the meantime so i was just checking to see if there are any other alternatives?

thanks!

these are the ones i got from autozone.
