reset CEL?
Can all Check Engine light be turned off by removing the ECU2 fuse in the engine room? I have this CEL (code 0770) turned for 2 weeks now. I have tried resetting it by removing the ECU2 fuse for 30 minutes, but after I replaced the fuse back on, CEL turned on right away. Is there any kind of CEL error that only can be turning off by plugging in OBDII computer?
If I remove the neg. terminal on the battery, will it reset the CEL?
Thanks.

Reset CEL.
Jacob,
You should repair the cause of the CEL first, if you haven't already. Resetting the CEL before you fix the problem will be a waste of time b/c the CEL will keep coming back. I think P0770 refers to a speed sensor of some sort in the trans., correct me if i'm wrong. Good luck.

I had the P0770 code before on my ES, and the problem was related to a "Shift Solenoid E Malfunction", which means your transmission is possibly hesitation or not shifting correctly. Do you see that on your GS?

thanks for the responses. My car is driving perfectly w/o any problem, that's why I just tried to reset the system to see if this is just a system glitch.
I'll stop by some auto parts shop and have them get it reset.
