Thats why I dont go to wilde lexus I have dealt with some of them before and the parts guys are pretty cool, but most of the people you deal with are dicks. They dont like to see any mods on the cars. I understand that modding can do damage to the car but to treat someone like crap is not cool.

rominl - so the foam thing works on the "clicking"?

i just tried to put the foam in, but no can do... the shade is pretty securely on, and there is very little space to put the foam in.... maybe i am a moron.

there's not much space that' sfor sure, and you just squeeze them in.

try to put the sunshade half open, and then hit on the middle part of the sunshade. can you hear the rattle, and where is it from?

the foam fixed my problem permanently

Update on my rattles. I have some that are coming back but i'd say 80% - 90% of the rattles are still taken care of and the sunshade stays put.

Before I go and pry in some foam - does this notorious rattle sound like a clicking sound? I get a moderately loud "click" once in a while and I wondering what it was. I thought it was the new baby seat that we put in, but after close listening (and almost getting into an accident) I realized that it was the sunroof.

So hope someone out there can confirm if the rattle is a click...
Well I'll have to try the foam fix tomorrow after work. I do get a slight rattle in the front half of the shade, and it does slide back a bit after a while. What I'd really like to fix though is the pop/crack sound coming from the back of the shade right behind the driver's headrest. It's done it since I bought the car, and it's LOUD. If I put my hand above my head and apply a bit of upward pressure right above/behind my head on the shade the popping ceases. Do you think a foam fix would work in this situation as well, or would this require the TSB fix?

Hi Guys,
I recently noticed anyoing "clicks" coming from my sunroof. I did the "foam fix" which, was decribed by rominl. I took her through some rough roads and triple digit on highway yesterday (ok! I didn't have to do that). I couldn't detect and noise. I guess the fix works.
