Hi Will:

Good meeting you at the meet. I remember you told me the Bilsteins may drop the car about 1/4" over the stock shocks. As you recall, I'm running Eibachs with the stock shock. Why does running Bilsteins lower the car a bit? Do the shocks not extend as far?

Still waiting for my wheels, must be on a real slow boat.

Hi there again,

it was def a pleasure to met you last weekend.

to a certain extent, you kind of answered your own question. let me try to explain the best i can.
the valving in the bilsteins are different than the stock shock. these shocks are actually "gas pressured" to provide a consistent rising9damping) rate on any types of road condition. instead of long travel(up-and -down a lot) like the conventional shocks, the bilsteins are designed provide a "lower" look with a purpose. with combination of eibach springs(~1-1.25"), you can get another ~1/8" of aggressive stance.

i hope i did a good job of answering your question. let me know if i can offer more help.
