Awhile i saw someone that had there GS radio LCD lights WHITE instead of Green.......DOES ANYONE know how to do this?? i think the thread said something about there being 3 small bulbs behind the unit that just need to be changed but can anyone confirm this mod.......?

I saw a DIY how-to on some remote Japanese website way back in the day. Basically your climate control screen has like 5-6 panels behind it that have to be removed to get to the screen itself. If you somehow succeeded in not breaking anything in the process, then you have to solder in new white LEDs and remove the original green-ish ones. Good luck, I say.

i did a search under "white radio" and came up with that dude O.L.T & Rockero28 that have done it and it looks HOT!! But O.L.T. charges a arm, leg, AND a hipbone to have him do it! And its not like u can just get the radio done without the climate controls & ect!!

So with that may be Rockero28 can guild me through it HE HAD A HOT POST with different colors so i am waiting to talk to him!!!

guess i'll throw the high powered cathodes out the door and go to autozone and buy some blue-ish rubber caps for everyone.

WHAT???!! ANYWAY..... do the rubber "Caps" look good thats the question.
i dont want nothing too extra or expensive just anything looks better than that green stock color!!

When u do this can u still see the radio presets and stuff cuz everyone that posted a pic of this mod shows Just the screen color but no actual words or numbers so i just wanted to double check!
