Doesn't sound right if you do the math. Assuming the chassis was on a dyno or non-moving apparatus, 3,000,000 miles at 100mph continuously would take about 3.4 years.

its possible, the dude with more than 1.5million mile Volvo P1800 still has quite bit of original parts on his car.

although his engine has been rebuild once.

someone calculate that. If the ran the lex 3 million miles how many times around the world did they go? I sure didnt see the 3 million mile lexus. And if they did there would be so much advertisement/promotional things involved.

Earth's Diameter = 12,756 km or 7,926.2109282 miles
Circumference = 40053.84 km or 24,888.3023145 miles

To drive 3 million miles = ~120.54 times around the world. Ha ha.

My GS400 only has 102,000 miles. However, my 1992 SC400 has over 337,000 miles. There have been no mechanical failures or repairs other than routine maintainance on any component of the drive train. I use about 1 quart of oil during a 5,000 mile oil change cycle and have been told by Lexus technicians that this is still within factory specs.500,000 to 750,000 seems achievable, I don't know about 3 million though.
