Engine flooded? Need help
Ok so about a month ago I went to start my car and It wouldn't start. It kept trying to turn over but wouldn't fire. So I get it towed over to the shop and they tell me the motor is flooded. They fix it, put new plugs and wires in and reset the computer. Everything was fine untill this afternoon. It did it again. The car hasn't been driven for almost 24hrs and it wouldn't fire like it was flooded or something. It just kept turning but not firing. Eventually after putting the gas pedal to the boards it fired, but it wanted to kill on me. After that I took it around the block and it drives perfectly fine.
Anyone know what it could be? Fuel pump possibly? You would think if it was, it would've been a continuous problem and not just show up again a month later. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your battery. Maybe the juice was dying and it needed you to step on the gas to crank over. Happened to me yesterday when we had the car's lights on pretty much all afternoon and my car almost died.

once in a while it can happen. my es mildy does that once in a great while. If when you are starting it and you think it's getting ready to fire and you let off the key and the car sputters but doesn't start. I think it sucks gas in though and then it takes another try or two to start. When it does start you get a little puff of smoke and then all is well.
I think my GS has done it before too.
