Default ABS and VSC lights: scared to drop her now...

well my recent ticket has kept me from biting the bullet and moving towards the coilover route so i just bought the l-tuned set up last night from sewell.. but ive read tooooooooo many posts about peoples lights coming on in the instrument panel and its got me scared and worried. im doing all this stuff on my car with my money so the parental units dont know anything about whats going on. and if i lower my car and the lights come on thats like a 800 dollar fix that i dont have right now... so does anyone else have any ideas/advice/tips of how to keep this from happening? im thinking of going to todd at TM engineering to have it done cuz its safe and what not... but still- im worried. help!

You shouldn't have any CEL's come on from a suspension install.

Most people experience this with the TC on the GS430.

YES! as long as you get a qualified Person to do the install there should be no such lights.

i think he's talking about the abs /vsc lights coming on

there is no need to remove that sensor when installing coilovers

it seems when they diconnected this wire and then put it back on something went wrong

when you do this job and the rotor falls forward all thew weight falls on the brake line

not the sensor wire

i just did this like 2 months ago i think

its not a bad job if you know what you are doing

but if you are not sure go to a mechanic

if he breaks it its on him then

Well, if you are going to Todd, then stop worrying. He can probably do this install in his sleep.
