already replaced those with polarg M6's... im talking about it looks dingy during the day

I remember going rice and adding "City lights" to my 93 Accord. So I like the look I think the PIAA DRL's look wonderful and just another special perk of the Chrome L>

yeah i find it very funny too. i have drl on my is300 and sc430 and i love them -- nice and useful imho. i wish my gs4 had it and i would actually do it if i can put them on.

but then a lot of 99+ owners they have drl and would die to get rid of them, haha

I turned mine off like a week after I got the car.

Isn't clublexus great?
does this trigger any indicator light on dash or anything? Is it same for 430?

BTW-I had an 05 ES loaner last week and you could turn off the drl if you wanted.

I'm not a big fan of DRL's so I'm glad my 98 doesn't have them. My buddy has a IS300 and he will drive around in broad daylight with his HID's on to avoid the DRL's

umm.... your is300 friend is missing it out man..... open up the hood (on the is300), on the pessenger side struct tower, there is a module with heat warning. unplug it. bingo, drl off..

I've wanted to do something like this. Where can I buy Polarg's or LED's?

No, no warning lights. Don't know about the 430. should be the same if I had to take a guess.

I believe daytime running lights were an option on '98 GS. They became standard after that model year.

Nope, not an option I ever heard of. There is no mention of any such option on the factory web site either. If you want lights on during the day, just turn the light swith on to the first click. You will get the 194 wedge bulb in the high beam housing to come on along with side marker and tail lights. If you replace the stock 194 bulb with Polarg or LED you will be able to get rid of the dingy yellow look and can match your HIDs or go even blue/purple if you want
