Default Air Conditioning Problem???? HELP!!!

I have a 2000 GS400 and Im having some problems with my A/C. It only blows cold if I have the temp on 65. If I take it about 70 its blowing out warm air. Anybody have any idea on what the problem might be? I just took my car in last month for the 60,000 mile service at Longo and they mentioned nothing about the A/C having any problems.

If you have any ideas let me know and also maybe how much it would cost to get it fixed?

Thanks a lot!

Sounds like you might have a problem with the control unit not working properly. Because if you had a leak it the ac system it wouldn't blow cold air at all.

Look on the brighter side. At least you have the option to use A/C during this time of year. The weather up in NorCal sucks right now.

LOL.....Well I called Longo this morning and they said they want to charge 164.00 just to look at the A/C system. Luckily its been raining here for a while. I live in So Cal. Ill probably have it checked out in a couple weeks. Im so tempted to go get a 06, but I will wait for the end of year blow out sale.

thanks!

Well the 164 is just to inspect the whole A/C System. I dont think it needs to be charged. I just took the car in for the 60,000 mile service about a month ago and they said the car was in perfect condition. Ill make an appointment in a couple weeks...its not hot here right now anyways, but if its a computer problem, I know its going to cost a lot.

Thanks!
