What would be the best way to remove some heavy dirt on the rear leather seats? I drive alot with the sunroof open and so it gets pretty dirty back there over time. I though about some household cleaner but did not want to dry out the leather. I tried Lexol cleaner to no avail. It cleaned only a little. thanks

I have successfully used Lexus leather cleaner and a soft brush to work the dirt loose. As the leather gets soaked it gets dark but lightens as it dries out. (for a while I thought the darker portion has more dirt).

Try Mother's cleaner and then follow that up with the leather conditioner..

Work in the shade for best results..

Hope that helps!

The leather cleaner with a soft brush doesn't sound like a bad idea, but I know it won't get everything you want out of those seats. I've heard 409 works good. I have not tried it yet, but my friend has white leather in his M3 and he uses that to loosen up all the dirt. After that, he applies the conditioner so it will not dry up the leather.

Hope that helps

"simple Green" and soft brush. Then Apply Lexol or other conditioner.

Leaving the sunroof open. What did you park under a bird santuary to get the seats that dirty?
