?? for OEM nav people

If i buy a gs400 with a factory nav, could the radio under it be replaced with a 1 din headunit? I mean is there enough clearence or is the factory radio under 1 din in size. Height is the concern here.

i've seen this somewhere before... it should be possible but there might be a little bit of the nav screen covered...

I dont know, because i realized that the controls for the radio (presets, cd tracks) are accessed via touch screen on nav

give me the measurements of the din and I'll check. But offhand, I'd say it's possible. It would be a heck of lot of re-wiring.
