ok guys... i posted a thread about a fly stuck in my passenger side DRL about a week ago... i was told try to vacuum the thing out... i was told to use a spider (i didn't do this though).. and i was told to get a wad of tape and pull the fly out...

i attempted to do the vacuum... but nothing really happened... the fly just kinda moved side to side with the airflow inside the DRL... and the wad of tape didnt even make it past the hole into the DRL... so everything was a complete failure... the fly is dead in there and it looks raunchy having a dead fly in my DRL... any other ideas?

umm, seriously, you tried using some hard wire with tape at the tips and didn't work? you shuold have been able to bend the wire in shape to get in.

any pics on the specific location of the fly?!

oOoOOoo.. wire... ahhahahahah i rolled up some paper and tried to shove it in there...

i will try it with wire this time... that idea just might work... ! good work by you rominl !

the fly is stuck at the very front of the DRL... its leaning against the glass... so the wire should work... as soon as i get home... i will try...

Use a pair of Hemostats (sp) as they should be thin enough to grasp that lil sucka!!

Try a can of Compressed air, it might blow it to a postion where you can get at it.

go to your nearest draw bridge and pull up to the separating point and when it opens gravity will pull it to the back of the headlight

yeah, wire. like those metal cloth hanger? cut it out and you get yourself some very stiff wire that you can bent into shape

Smoke him out. Light up a cig or maybe something a little stronger and blow in the light.
Either the fly will pass out or fly out. If he passes out, you can shake the sucker out or try the vacuum idea again.

EDIT: I just reread your post and just discovered its dead. My idea won't work. Build a time machine and go to the future. The fly will decay to nothing

This idea will work trust me. I had the same problem with my headlighs and retro. You get a can of butane put the tip in the wedge bulb hole and start to spray wait like 1 minute before you stop spraying. Then get the wedge bulb break the glass and plug it all back up. Then turn your lights on. BOOM no more fly to worry about

Then if the spider won't come out, send in a bird.

How about just taking the light off the car and give it a little shake you should be all set no more FLY.
