Question PICTURE: Mystery Clip (GS 300 Steering Wheel Assembly)

I just got my steering wheel back from American-Stitches and started reassembling the parts. I had taken some pictures before disassembling my steering wheel so I would have a guide for putting it back together. Unfortunately, this little clip does not show up in any of my pictures and I can't figure out where it goes. Seems like it should be obvious, so it's really annoying me!

I'm hoping that at least one of you who has taken your steering wheel apart remembers where this goes and might even have a picture that shows it. Or, maybe you have a parts diagram that you could scan and post or e-mail to me (michael@preyerplanning.com).

Once I get this steering wheel back on the car, I'll take pictures and post them along with a review of my experience with American-Stitches. It was both good and bad, but more on that later.

Thanks for your help!
Michael

You see how the cruise control stalk has 3 screws to hold it on. that piece goes on one of the screws. When u try it youll see how it fits

Hey G-Lex, I'm feeling pretty dumb right now because I still can't make it fit. I've positioned it in every angle I can think of on the each of the lower (2) screws, but none of the positions seems to make sense. Is there any chance you still have a picture that shows a good view of the clip installed?

Hopefully this picture will be helpful. I moved the cruise stalk out of the way and set it above the mounting points so they are easier to see. If necessary, I can take another picture from a different angle.

Sorry I cant be more helpful but it goes in the red circle. Put the screw trough that then into the CC stalk then into the hole. Its keeps the CC stalk from moving a certain way.

I finally got it. Naturally, it was deceptively simple - the worst kind! Ha, ha! Thanks so much for the great help. I'll get the wheel on the car tomorrow and get a few pics of that and tell about my American-Stitches experience.
