Can't Wait!!!
I am going to pick up a 2001 GS 430 in two weeks. I have been browsing the message board for a month and deciding on the best car for my needs. I had narrowed it down to the 2000 GS 400 or the 2001 GS 430. I negotiated a deal for a GS 430, silver with black interior, no ML or Nav, with 42K miles and 5 months of warranty left. I will fly up to get the car and then get to spend a week driving it through Colorado, stopping in Boulder and Denver, then down to Santa Fe, NM, and then taking back to Austin, TX.

Welcome to CL and congratulations on your new purchase. Make sure you take a good radar detector for your trip back to TX. You'll need it. Also, and especially if you have said radar detector, try to "fly" back at night. You'll love the GS430 at speed lighting an empty TX interstate or country road with HIDs at night. Again, congratulations, and y'all come back to CL., ya hear?

I feel your pain! I recently "ordered" a loaded 2001 GS430 silver on silver myself. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but the transport company called me to let me know they were running a day late 
. Now the car is probably stuck in a snowbank somewhere because of all of this snow we are getting 
I haven't heard anything from them yet, so I may get lucky and have it tonight. More than likely, it won't be here until tomorrow! I JUST WANT TO TOUCH IT
