Unhappy

Here is the scoop. I got external antena as one of our member told me. It was NAV-N751A unit for Alpine. The antenna is okay for the exception that the conector on the external unit does not fit. They both look very similar for the exception of the grove in the molding. My question is that have anyone order the Clarion antenna and install in on the GS 430 and verify that it works. The funny thing is that when I traveled to S.Cal over the weekend, my NAV works in S. Cal and up here in N. Cal, it was crazy. Any way, if anyone have any info, please let me know. Thanks

Default GS 300 TINTS/ navigation

Take the connector case off the new antenna... all you should have to do is push a few pins and the actual antenna cable should just pop out. This solves the problem with the connectors not fitting together. After that, I personally just plugged it in to the nav unit like that, without taking the factory antenna casing off and trying to swap them. I don't know if it will fit but you can always try. The antenna works fine however. All you do is plug it in where your old antenna used to be.
This whole thing took less than 5 minutes to do. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.
