I just ran the National Dealer Auction report for a fellow CL member. I have the data for 00 thru 04 GS 300 400 and 430's.

Yep those all actual sold prices paid by the dealer. Now you must remember they have many other fees once they buy the car, like Auctions fees, if they do a auction detailed diagnotics check-up, if they have the car clean-up or detailed by the auction, transporting the car to their dealer, and then any mechanical work that needs to be done. So I always tell people plan on spending around $1,000 to $1,500 over what the report figure shows. This give them some small profit and covers their basic fees. Now I have seen Lexus dealers charging $5 to $6k over the Auction price they paid. Somtimes depending on the area and lack of cars for sale in the area they can command that premium.

All this make sence?

All these models in the report appear to be 'second generation' GS years, so I'm moving to the main forum
