Alexus,
I am very sorry you are having problems with your LuxLink. If it is possible give me a call when you are in your car so we can do some testing. The LuxLink should be working every time. The range however is a different story. I can tell you how to get a little more range out of the key but for the most part you are limited to the range of the factory remote. Some are better than others.

Call me,
Steve

What do I do if my car doesnt start sometimes? I usually find it not starting if I leave the A/C on or even when nothing is on at all. I try to start it from my office and as soon as I get to my car, 5 minutes later, I notice the car has not even started, but the radio is on. Is there a way to let the engine crank a little longer? Because I honestly thought the whole purpose of this was to be able to cool or warm up the car before you get in it. But from the past month that I have owned the LuxLink remote start. it has honestly started 30% of the time that I have tried. Its really annoying that when I try and start the car that all it does is crank over but not start.

Any input would be helpful.

Ed,
It sounds like the immoboliser pickup is not positioned properly. If the looped wire is not in the proper place on the ignition cylinder at times the signal will not be strong enough to start the car. The easiest way to test this is to start the car from inside the vehicle. If the security light does not go out and continues to blink the immoboliser was not picked up. If the ignition and the radio is on when you get in the car it appears every thing is operating ok it just missed the immoboliser signal.
The best thing to do is give me a call when your in your vehicle and we can do some tests over the phone to see exactly what is going on.

No prob Steve.. I'll probably swing by the shop. I'm in no big hurry right now, just need to make time to come see you guys.

But I'll try and call you before I go there to do those tests.

Steve,
I tried starting the car from the inside.. After I clicked lock 3 times to remote start, the security light kept flashing and the car cranked but did not start. I tried about 10 times and it actually worked a couple of times even with the radio and the a/c on, also the security light was off at those times that it started.
Can I bring it by the shop this saturday?

Steve,

Tell Jacen he did an great job in troubleshooting and fixing the problem with the remote start. It starts every time I try now, even with a/c, lights, stereo and seat warmers on. Great product and great customer service

Thanks again,
