Default Replacing the PNR bulb #74 on my GS400

My PNR bulb burnt out so I decided to replace it today.
Just want to share replacing my PNR bulb (I used a #74 bulb) and removing the center console.

1. Remove ashtray and unplug harness.
2. Pull center console straight up and back. Hold where the wood meets the armrest. basically where the the VSC and the Power buttons are located.
3. Unplug the wireharness. Put car in lowest gear so that it is easier to slip off center console.
4 Take the PNR cover off.
5 Locate and remove and replace bulb #74. (remember to keep the green bulb cover and place it on new bulb.)
6. Now just repaet steps backwards to finish job.

Here are some pics:

Thanks for the informative writeup. Is the bulb you replaced them with brighter than the original bulb?

Ive never actually had that light working so I just wanted to see how easy it was to replace. I will change them with the #74 LED as soon as I can buy one.
